About SAPRI

Somali-American Policy & Research Institute (SAPRI) is a nonpartisan research and public education organization focused on civic participation, economic contribution, and public safety outcomes in Minnesota.

SAPRI produces data-driven analysis using publicly available sources and transparent methods. Our work is designed to support informed decision-making by policymakers, journalists, researchers, and civic institutions.

SAPRI does not engage in political advocacy, endorse candidates, or promote policy positions. We prioritize methodological clarity, contextualized data, and repeatable indicators to improve the quality of public discourse.

  • longitudinal analysis rather than isolated statistics

  • appropriate geographic and socioeconomic comparisons
